💙💛 ATTENDANCE MATTERS, HORNETS! 💛💙
Did you know that missing just 2 days of school a month can add up to 18 days of missed learning in a school year? Those days add up quickly—and so do the lessons, conversations, friendships, routines, and opportunities our students miss when they aren’t here.
That’s why we’re asking our Hornet families to make attendance a priority: Be here. Be ready. Be Hornet Strong! 🐝
Of course, we also know there are times when staying home is absolutely the right thing to do. If your student has a fever, is vomiting, has diarrhea, or is dealing with another potentially contagious illness, giving them time to rest and recover helps protect our entire Hornet family. Keeping germs from spreading means fewer missed days for students, staff—and even parents who may have to miss work! ❤️
The goal isn’t to send sick kids to school. The goal is to build strong attendance habits and make every healthy school day count.
🏫 Healthy and ready to learn? We want you here!
🏠 Sick and potentially contagious? Stay home, rest, and come back ready!
Thank you, Hornet families, for partnering with us to keep our students healthy, learning, and connected.
💛 Every Day Counts. Every Hornet Matters. 💙
