🌸 Spring Parent Café = A Huge Success! 🌸 Our Spring Parent Café was a meaningful and uplifting evening for all who attended! These events are all about connection — and this one focused on Resilience as parents came together to reflect, support one another, and share stories of strength and encouragement. 💬 No judgment. Just real conversations, supportive community, and a fabulous meal. A HUGE thank you goes out to our friends at the Louisville Area YMCA for generously providing each participating family with a Free Family Day Pass AND a No Start-Up Fee coupon for new memberships! 🙌 Your partnership means the world to our families! 📚☕️ Welcome to "Starbooks Café"— Now Serving a Love of Reading! ☕️📚 Our 6th Grade ELA classroom took a magical turn this week as it transformed into “Starbooks Café” for a special book tasting event — and it was a bestseller! 🤩🍩📖 Students “sampled” books by reading the first few pages, jotting down their thoughts in a creative menu-style journal, and exploring new genres they might not have picked up on their own. From mystery to fantasy to graphic novels — the shelves were buzzing with excitement! 💬✨ These kinds of events spark a fun, low-pressure love of reading and help build a stronger classroom community. And get this... they ended the day with FOUR pages worth of library book requests!
